Diverse backgrounds, personalities, and gifts woven together by God's Spirit into a community of faith give rise to Sharon Lutheran Church.  Set within the heart of the Selinsgrove community since 1790, Sharon has a calling to be engaged in the life of the community and the world, to be the demonstrable love of God with all people, and to serve together to create an environment ripe for spiritual and personal growth.  
We are about God's work of restoring and making new; amazingly, God uses our hands to accomplish God's mission.

Meet the Pastor
Rev. Robert P Doll currently serves as Pastor among the people of Sharon Lutheran Church. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University and earned his MDiv. from the Lutheran Seminary at Philadelphia, now United Lutheran Seminary. Pastor Doll has served Sharon since 2010 and previously served Grace Lutheran, Hatfield and St. Paul’s, Glenside.

“I have many favorite Bible verses, but I am always drawn to the passage from John 15 where Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches” for the way it reminds us of our life sustaining source of God and our connection to all the branches. Whether it is worshiping or learning or praying or serving, all of it flows from the grace of God and God’s steadfast faithfulness.” -Pastor Doll
