Eucharistic Ministry

We connect and build up the body of Christ by extending the table of communion to our homebound and hospitalized members.

Once a month communion is taken by several of our lay eucharistic ministers to members who are homebound or are in residential care or hospital settings.  It is such a great gift to be able to include them in our worship by taking communion from our Sunday celebration directly to them after worship.  This visits, prayers, and sharing of the meal has been meaningful to all who have received it and especially to those who have done the visiting.

We currently have 9 individuals who serve in this capacity.  If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, please talk with Pastor Doll.  The group meets at least once a year to discuss their experiences as well as an updates.
